Amazon Must-Haves for Plant Parent-hood
After years of living in my little plant-world bubble, I realized I had unknowingly compiled a list of items that I bought over and over again for my plants. Each of these recommendations are carefully chosen for quality, functionality, affordability, and I always rely on that these products are in stock to keep my plants and person happy. I do my best to support carbon-neutral companies as well as sustainability, and especially small businesses like me!
All links below help support my small business (Amazon affiliate)!
This horticultural charcoal is my favorite in the Amazon-verse. It is a fine texture and easy to blend with soil. I use this in every terrarium I create!
Copper wire, in my opinion, is the best + most versatile plant tool in my vintage suitcase. It is a natural conductor of energy, and also is a natural pest detterent! It helps the plants grow and harness the energies from around it. ADD TO CART!
Copper and rose gold is an aesthetic I can't live without - truly! If you have taken one of my workshops, every student uses one of these at their seat.
Good ol', tweezers - man! I love having a set of two. One straight, and one curved.
Grow lights are everywhere in my house, and I have had 2 sets of these now for 3 years without replacing. They are super affordable and versatile, and the clip is sturdy!
If you don't like the look of the grow lights on the market, put grow bulbs in your home lamps! We all need more light and adding these around your house benefits both you and your plants!
I love having a hand vac just for dirt. I have seen a-many influencers also take part in this technique and it truly is brilliant. It helps save you money on soil!
Plant mats are essential for repotting and propagating, and I really didn't like the ones on the market. These "dog food" mats are THE BEST, non-slip, and sooooo easy to hand-wash. I use these in every one of my workshops.
If you don't already have a pair of wire cutters, I love to have them on hand for all my creative plant projects.
Mosser Lee has been around for some time, and they haven't been boxed out yet. That's because their products are high quality and affordable. I only use their sand for my terrariums.
If you want to look cute and chic, I recommend a cute planty apron.
Super Moss is another favorite of mine, but only for certain products. I'm a fresh/live moss gal, but I love their Long Fiber Sphagnum moss for making Kokedamas.
ORCHID BARK is always bought on repeat here and is used in my soil mixture AND as top dressing for all my plants that I sell at markets. This brand is affordable and quality, and also always in stock.
Rocks are everywhere! But sadly, I still like to buy them in bulk for my classes and projects at home. If I run out of my collected pebbles from Lake Huron, I buy this black, smooth stone gravel for my filtration layer in my terrariums.
Mosser Lee makes so many awesome products, and their crushed marble I seem to keep buying for every workshop I have. The look of this stone gives luxe, as well as an organic feel that adds a pop of white aesthetic to my terrariums.
Power sprayers are SO FUN! And if you are a plant person and don't have one yet, You NEED to get one! I Love this one because the charge lasts a long time, and with the tap of the botton, it turns on + off!
I love heat mats for my props that need a little TLC post trauma. You can also use them in your plant cabinets and for your micro-greens! I have had mine for over 3 years with no issues.
Espoma is my ultimate go-to, and I use for all of my workshops. It's light, and airy and is packed with nutrients for your plant baes.
