Bringing Back Biophilia
My Ikigai
The human body and mind are deeply connected to the biology of plants. It's in our nature to nurture and be nurtured by verdure. Plants were designed to heal, nourish, and support us—mentally, physically, and emotionally—in countless ways.
Embracing a lifestyle that aligns with nature and fosters self-sustainability within your own living space is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself and your family. It’s an investment in well-being and in a more mindful, harmonious future.
My love for nature began in childhood, growing up amidst the stunning White Mountains of northern New Hampshire. I spent my early years picking wild blueberries and apples right in my backyard, forging a lifelong connection to the natural world.
In 2013, I was diagnosed with a connective tissue disorder, which led me to explore holistic medicine. By 2019, I started my own organic garden and began cultivating plant-based remedies in my modest suburban backyard. Over time, my passion for gardening evolved into an enthusiasm for indoor foliage, biophilic design, and indoor farming (also known as Controlled Environment Agriculture or CEA). With so many people navigating limited space like me, I’ve made it my mission to explore creative, sustainable solutions for bringing nature into small spaces.
